First blog post! Wow!
The fact that it's 8PM on a Friday night and I'm doing this fiddly website shit on a quarter of a bottle of wine should tell you everything you need to know about me as a person.
My goal is to have this more or less finished by August 1, which seems doable. I'm going for a very minimal approach, like laying down some bare bones foundation that I can live with but will hopefully build upon if I ever become more proficient at this.
Clock that optimism. I barely recognize myself.
I have things to figure out—like how to archive my blog entries, if I should display book reviews seperately, if I even want to post art—but those are matters for later. For now, I'm going to take myself to bed. I started re-reading Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir in anticipation of the release of Nona the Ninth in September, and I want to make some headway on that because I have feelings.
